Jinju's Story...
Jinju is a 16 lb 4 month old female Shiba Inu/Jindo mix. She is very sweet but shy. She's curious about the world around her, but still cautious. She is getting adjusted to life away from her mother and littermates.
Jinju's mother was rescued from a dog meat farm in S Korea. She gave birth to 8 puppies shortly after being rescued. Jinju is good with other dogs and lets people pet her, although she is still learning to trust people.
Who We Are Welcome Home Dog Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a group of dedicated individuals who have gathered to bring about the much needed change in the ways our society deals with animal welfare. We are a coalition of all-volunteer, experienced dog owners/handlers who believe all dogs deserve a good home and with the balanced allocation of our unifying forces, we can make a difference that truly matters. To make the journey into reducing overpopulation and the number of dogs in shelters, Welcome Home Dog Rescue offers rescue and adoption services specific to the adopter’s needs and lifestyles so that both ends of the leash can find a happy home together.
