Foster parents have the first option to adopt. We will provide all you need to foster. 

Weight: 28lbs

Age: 5

Personality: Nixon is as sweet and calmer than any other beagles we meet. He is good with large and small dogs - you couldn’t ask for a better temperament. He loves to play but is perfectly happy to chill as long as it’s by your side. He loves other dogs but loves people the most. 

Coat: Medium length. 

Training: House manners and socialization. 

Potty trained: Working in progress

Health: Healthy

History: Nixon was rescued from science lab along with many other Beagles.

Fostered in: La Habra

Type of home: Will do well with another dog or as the only dog. He will bond quickly with his new humans.

Adoption fee (non-refundable): $385

All dogs are fully vetted, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations. 

Our adoption process looks like this:

1. Adoption application review by WHDR board

2. Adoption application approval

3. Meet and greet

4. Home safety check

5. Final approval and adoption finalized
