Mochi was adopted today by his forever family, MiMi and Jeff! His new mom is a librarian and plans to train Mochi to be a reading therapy dog for children! He is a perfect fit for this wonderful job! Congratulations and welcome home, Mochi! Mochi's Info... I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and good with dogs. Weight: 58 lbs., typical size for a male standard poodle Breed: Apricot Standard Poodle Age: 3 years Personality: Affectionate and athletic personality. Friendly with dogs and people. He hasn't been around kids here in the USA, but we'd be surprised if he wasn't good with them. Playful but well behaved. Coat: Short, hypoallergenic, non-shedding, but requires regular brushing, bathing and grooming every 6-8 weeks. His coat is a little rough now because of malnutrition, but once he gets on a good quality food, he is going to be GORGEOUS! Training: Knows basic obedience commands: sit, down, shake, come Potty trained: Yes, lifts his leg to pee outside, not completely 100% yet, but he just arrived a few days ago from S. Korea. Health: Excellent, very healthy. History: Rescued as a stray in S. Korea. Medium and large dogs have a very hard time finding homes there due to the size of living accommodations. They are kept as outside dogs. Mochi was sent to California to find a better life. He wants to be an indoor dog, with regular exercise, good-quality food and people to love him! Fostered in: La Habra Type of home:Active individual, couple or family. Standard poodles are athletic dogs who enjoy regular walks, running, fetch, dog parks and playing games. Mochi will need to be adopted by people who have the time to spend with him! He would be good with other pets in the family or by himself, as long as he has plenty of exercise and family time with you!

Crate trained: Yes Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Kids: Unknown, but probably yes Good with Cats: Unknown
