Weight: 41 lbs. nicely muscled Age: 5 years young Personality: Extremely sweet and loving, really nice personality, loves attention. She was super shy when she first came here, but has settled down now, and fitting well into her foster family. Coat: Curly, NON-SHEDDING, will require regular grooming every 4-6 weeks. She had to be clipped really short because she was matted. Her hair will grow back in white. The gray is just her skin color coming through. Training: Anna is learning with her foster mom's coaching very nicely. Poodles are very smart so with kindness and positive reinforcement, she will learn quickly. We recommend training classes to help her feel more secure. She is eager to please so training her is easy with a repetition and a positive reinforcement method trainer. Potty trained: Yes Health: Good health. Vet recommends she should be given a joint supplement, such as Dasuquin, even though she's young for it because of her former malnutrition. History: Anna was rescued by a volunteer in South Korea. Her owner had been using her to show her in competition and for breeding. When the rescuer saw her beating Anna, she rescued her on the spot. Anna was very timid when she first came, but she has really blossomed quickly. Despite her former trauma, she has an excellent temperament. Anna was originally born in the United States, but we don't know which breeder. Fostered in: Fullerton, CA Type of home: Working family ok as long as plenty of attention is given to her before and after work. Work at home ideal, but not necessary. She really loves people. Crate trained: Yes, sleeps in crate Good with Dogs: Yes - Friendly with other dogs but also good as single dog. Anna has growled just a touch when another dog comes up when she's receiving attention from her foster mom. She's never been in a typical American home environment before, so she is learning to share attention with others. Good with Kids: Yes - Anna wants the attention (and needs it), so young children (preschool) probably wouldn't be a good match. Good with Cats: No Adoption fee (non-refundable): $500.

All dogs are fully vetted, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations.
