Weight: 8 lb Age: 2 years old Personality: Very sweet, calm, eager to please, a little shy at first but warms up quickly, startled with loud noises Coat: Very soft, does not shed, will need regular grooming, coat was severely matted so she had to be completely shaved on the body, but her hair will grow out to be beautiful. This dog will be gorgeous once her coat grows out! Training: Knows sit, her name and come. Her foster mom is working on basic training.

Potty trained: Yes on potty pads

Health: Very good. Vet noticed she has a small internal inguinal hernia but it does not need to be fixed. 3rd eyelid on right eye is just slightly enlarged when you pull down the lower eyelid. Does not cause a problem or pain.

History: Abandoned by owner at OC Animal Shelter, in a state of severe neglect.

Type of home: Stay at home or working family, but owner needs to be nurturing and kind, and willing to socialize Ginger. No small children because of noise. She gets startled by screaming but does well with children. She needs a short walk everyday, but exercise requirements are minimal.

Crate trained: Yes, sleeps in crate or on bed

Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Kids: Yes (should be at least elementary school age and not screamers) Good with Cats: Yes
