Breed: Maltese/Poodle
Weight: 9lbs
Age: 2 yrs
Personality: Alvin is so very sweet! He is excited to see the humans when they walk through the door but after the excitement wears off he is all about snuggling. He prefers to be on a lap, but will settle for next to you.
Coat: Soft! He looks wiry, but he's not, at all!
Training: He is currently using a doggy-door and is allowed limited house access when his foster parents are not home. Alvin knows his name and is learning basic commands along with English.
Potty trained: In progress. He is very, very new to this, so we monitor him constantly on carpeted areas.
Health: Healthy but still needs to gain some weight
History: Rescued in South Korea

Type of home: Alvin will do best in a family home and will enjoy the company of another dog
Crate trained: Unknown
Good with Dogs: Yes. Alvin enjoys his doggie friends and learns from them. He would like to play with them, too.
Good with Kids: Yes, all humans of all ages and sizes.
Good with Cats: Yes, he may bark, but not excessively and doesn't chase them.
Adoption fee (non-refundable): $350
All dogs are fully vetted, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations.
Our adoption process looks like this:
1. Adoption application review by WHDR board
2. Adoption application approval
3. Meet and greet
4. Home safety check
5. Final approval and adoption finalized
