Age: 6 years

Personality: Nakoa has a gentle, quiet, and kind spirit. And it goes without saying, Nakoa is an absolutely stunning dog! Almost like the personality of a cat, Nakoa is independent. She doesn't need too much attention, and she has a calm and low energy. While timid at first, her playful side comes out once she gets comfortable. She is still learning to trust humans, but with love and consistency, she opens up! Her favorite thing is to be next to her humans and get pets and belly rubs. She has silly moments where she will toss her toys around, and run around the house. Nakoa loves food, will come when called, and enjoys other dog's company. 

Coat: Medium length, moderate shedding

Training: Nakoa is getting daily socialization.

Potty trained: Yes

Health: Healthy

History: Rescued from Los Angeles shelter. Nakoa spent her first 5 years in a hoarder's house. Like most dogs who come from a hoarding background, Nakoa needed to learn how to be a "dog," as many experiences are new to her. Check out our Instagram and you will see she is doing lots of normal dog things now - and loving it!

Type of home: Nakoa needs a family who will be patient and understanding of her background. She is for someone who prefers having an independent dog.

Crate trained: Loves her crate

Good with Dogs: Yes

Good with Kids: Friendly, but may be scared of their fast movements and loud voices.

Good with Cats: Yes

Adoption donation (non-refundable): $350

All dogs are fully vetted, heartworm negative, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations.

We will spay/neuter all of our dogs prior to adoption.  If a dog is not ready for operation, we will at a later date.
